Puppy Play

Well, they aren’t puppies anymore, but to me, they’ll always be “the pups.” The best time to catch these two playing is in the early morning when they first wake up from a long night’s rest. Plus, it gets hot in Tucson, AZ very quickly! Watching these two (sometimes my oldest will even play along) with a cup of coffee makes me giggle every time.

Within Walking Distance

I came across this sweet girl back in October on a walk through a nearby neighborhood. She wasn’t chained, thank goodness, but she’s definitely had many litters of puppies. She was gentle and kind, and had free roam of her neighborhood streets. I left wishing I could see her mothering at work, as I knew she had to be a great one.

Within Walking Distance is a series which will highlight what I come across as I venture out into God’s creation. The series challenges me to find inspiration close by, as travel is not always possible. More importantly, through my photography I will become a  witness to His splendor as well as to what we’ve done with it. These photos will represent the environment that God has placed me in – reality rather than grandeur – but instead of illustrating the mundane, I intend to make plain the Creator.
