My grandpa’s 90th birthday was this past December. For this very special day, I thought I would hire a photographer so I didn’t have to worry about taking pictures, but then it hit me, COVID. Having a small family gathering was one thing, but asking a stranger to come into the fold was, it seemed, too dangerous. Maybe one of these days life will be safer to live again. Until then, we all must do our part to keep our loved ones safe.
My family spent the celebratory day outside. We went fishing in the morning and then had dinner and cake back home in the garage!

Something new I tried was a photo booth. I got the idea from a high school prom event years ago. I don’t have an extra camera so I used my cell phone instead. It turned out to be a big hit! (I am the crazy lady in the zebra sweater.)
