Boy, I tell ya, it sure is nice to have kids back, doing what they love! We stumbled upon Drama Kids this year and were thrilled for an opportunity to let our daughter try out her musical theater skills! Shannon Sievert, the director, is A.MA.ZING! In two weeks she had what looked to me like 50 kiddos perform the best musical I have seen in years. I laughed and was entertained the whole time. Bravo!

Yesterday I enjoyed a two-hour window of time, just me and my girl. We built a sand castle, went for a bike ride, and walked hand-in-hand. I don’t usually take pictures of people with my 50mm prime, I wasn’t about to take along a huge, portrait lens during this precious time. I just love the many facial expressions of this girl!
